today was just a distance run. my shins were hurting just a bit, so i biked my last mile to make up mileage. overall i felt good!

 this was a great way to start spring break! our distance run was pretty good weather. and it was a short run.

cross trained.  i did the workout on the eliptical and through swimming. started at 2 minutes and worked down to 30 seconds with one minute break, and went back up. and i did the same thing in the pool and istead of rest i aqua jogged.

it was a speed workout. we did 9 150's. legs were a bit heavy from weights but it was definetly a good workout.

so i cross trained again today. we went for a hike and walked agiasnt the current up the river. it was pretty fun and a good way to rest my legs for the next week.

pre meet today to get ready for a random duel meet. it was solid and i felt great.

meet got postponed until tomorrow so i did pre meet again. i was hitting my splits, actually faster...but it was because of the huge windstorm pushing me.

100, 200, 300, 200, 100 was our workout today. we had an unexpected snow storm so it was super cold!! but it was a solid workout, in a way  it pushed me.

this race was pretty windy....overall not a good race at all. my start was good but the last 75 meters it felt like i was running through mud.

today was prom so i ran 2 miles then i did a bit more cardio at the dance but it was a good recovery run.

300, 250, 200, 150, 100, 50, 300 was our workout. it was super hot but it was a really good workout for the 400

today i had work so i did it at my house. it was 12 150s but build ups. started jogging, stride out 50 meters then back to jog. it was hard doing them by myself but i know itll be good for my 400.

today we did 3 stride outs with a weighted sled. they worked on our form. i was feeling pretty good. and they were way fun. then we just did three normal stride outs and those were definetly a lot easier adn it pur tour form we just worked on into action.

today i ran 4x100s then biked 3 more sets of 4x100s but i did them for 30 seconds with 1 minute rest in between. they felt pretty good on both.

today we did pre meet. i did 2 200s. i was not hitting my splits, they were about 1-2 seconds off each 100. but i am ready for our race tomorrow.

today was tiger trials. the 400 did not go nearly as well as i wanted. i wanted to qualify for byu but that was way off. i was put in the 200 second leg of the medly like 15 minutes before, so that was way fun. i prd and our team was one second away from state. then we ran a 4x400 just for fun.

today we just wetn for a recovery distance run. it got a little hot but other than that it was a good recovery day. and shout out to my boy connor arnell because its his birthday today!!!

fractured my fibula. it started hurting at our race at davis and i thought that i was just sore so i didnt do anything about it and just went out and ran and qualified for byu and ran the 4x4. as practice and meets went on it didnt get better it got worse. i had our trainer massage me everyday before practice and meets and heat it and tape it and iced it after practice...pretty much everything. finally at regions i told my mom i was hurting and that the trainer said we needed to get an xray done. that was two months later. we went in and had an xray. i had chiped my bone and fractured it 3/4 of the way through. its kind of funny cause at every meet my times stayed consistant. they didnt get slower. i was pushing through the pain that i shouldnt have. i am now in a boot for four weeks before our next xray. and when he clears me to run we are getting a gate ananlysis done so hopefully that will fix my injury problems.
