fractured my fibula. it started hurting at our race at davis and i thought that i was just sore so i didnt do anything about it and just went out and ran and qualified for byu and ran the 4x4. as practice and meets went on it didnt get better it got worse. i had our trainer massage me everyday before practice and meets and heat it and tape it and iced it after practice...pretty much everything. finally at regions i told my mom i was hurting and that the trainer said we needed to get an xray done. that was two months later. we went in and had an xray. i had chiped my bone and fractured it 3/4 of the way through. its kind of funny cause at every meet my times stayed consistant. they didnt get slower. i was pushing through the pain that i shouldnt have. i am now in a boot for four weeks before our next xray. and when he clears me to run we are getting a gate ananlysis done so hopefully that will fix my injury problems.
